Is the Gift Card a credit card?
No. It is a prepaid VISA card that carries a fixed cash amount determined by the Gift Card purchaser. Each time the card is used, the purchase amount is deducted from the available balance.

Is there a fee for the Gift Card?
The fee for purchasing a Gift Card is $2.50.

Where can the Gift Card be used?
It can be used to make purchases everywhere VISA debit cards are accepted.

• Restaurant Usage. For purchases made at a restaurant, the purchase amount will be increased by 20% while being authorized by Visa, therefore sufficient funds must be available for the whole amount. Once the gratuity, if any, is added to the original purchase, only the final amount will be deducted from your balance.

How do you check the balance of a Gift Card?
To check your balance or review recent transactions, visit https://www.ConsumerCardAccess.com/CUgift2 or call toll-free 866-833-2370, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Can the Gift Card be reloaded?
No.

What happens if a Gift Card is lost or stolen?
Your card may be replaced if it is lost or stolen. Call 866-833-2370 toll-free immediately or write to Card Security Department, P.O. Box 1481, Madison, WI, 53701 to report a lost or stolen card. You will be required to provide your card number.

Should you select debit or credit at the point of sale?
You should select credit.

Can I get cash back from a merchant?
No, cash back is not an option on your Gift Card.

What if the purchase is denied?
The card's available balance is probably less than the purchase amount. Call 866-833-2370 for the remaining balance on the card and use another form of payment to pay the difference, subject to the policy of the merchant.

How are merchandise returns handled?
Each merchant location has its own return policies and will handle the returns in the same manner as any other VISA debit purchase.

Does the gift Card have an expiration date?
Yes. Except where prohibited by law, this card is valid through the expiration date shown on the front of the card or until the card value reaches zero. The funds are valid for 5 years after the initial load or date of last use, whichever is longer. You will lose any balance after the funds expiration date.

What fees are associated with gift cards?
There are no fees to use the card to purchase goods or services. Except where prohibited by law, the following fees may apply and may be deducted from the balance available on the card:

• Closed, Lost, or Stolen Card Replacement: A $10.00 fee will be deducted from your balance to close or replace a lost or stolen card.
• Service Fee. A monthly fee of $5.00 will be deducted from your balance in the thirteenth month after twelve months of non-use. This fee will occur each month until transaction activity resumes, card/funds expiration, or the available balance reaches zero, whichever is earlier.

What happens if I make a purchase with my Gift Card and then decide to return the merchandise?
If you use a Visa Gift card to make a purchase and then go to do a return, the credit will go back on the Visa Gift card. So, make sure not to toss the plastic card until you know that you are satisfied with your purchase.
